CIC vs BTE domes

Micro CIC amplifiers sit entirely inside the ear canal and use a different dome style than behind-the-ear models. BTE domes will not fit CIC amplifiers and vice versa. Always check compatibility before ordering.

Pro tip

Because CIC amplifiers sit deep in the ear canal, dome fit matters more than with BTE devices. A dome that's too small can slip off inside the canal; a dome that's too large will feel tight or cause pressure. Keep at least one backup pack on hand.
